OUR SERVICES
An assessment establishes the firm’s current position against the requirements in scope and sets out the work needed. It can cover a specific concern or a wider set of related obligations.
ASSESSMENT SCOPE
We agree the business activities, regulatory areas and records to be reviewed, together with the questions management needs answered. The work can include policies, control records, systems, responsibilities and reporting.
We discuss the findings with the relevant teams and distinguish gaps in the firm’s arrangements from gaps in the information provided. Any requirement for specialist advice is established during scoping.
DELIVERABLES
The requirements and materials reviewed, their owners and the information still needed.
The gaps identified, their operational implications and the limitations of the assessment.
Recommended changes, dependencies and proposed owners for management to review and prioritise.
A report for management covering the findings, outstanding decisions and recommended actions, followed by a discussion with the responsible teams.
DELIVERY ARRANGEMENTS
We need a nominated lead, access to agreed records and time with the people responsible for the relevant processes and controls. The schedule is agreed before the engagement starts.
The assessment can inform your Lexa implementation, including the records to migrate, responsibilities and review workflows to configure. Your team can also take the action plan forward independently. Further implementation or delivery support is scoped separately.
The assessment supports management decisions. It is not a legal opinion, independent audit certification or guarantee of regulatory compliance. Specialist judgments and approvals remain with appropriately authorised people.
